Rite Aid trip...

First of all, I printed out $3 off $15 coupons and $5 off $25 coupons (these expired today). I didn't notice that there was a limit to how many I could print. I printed 5 of each to be safe. Since they are both for 20% off the purchase, it seems that it would not matter which one you used. But depending on what is being purchased, which coupons are available, etc... there are some cases where I would need one or the other (see diaper deal below).

I did 3 transactions. The cashier was a little impatient...

Transaction #1:
Mt. Dew 12 packs 3 for $8.99 (with in-ad coupon 2/28)

Kleenex BOGO: I bought 2 for $1.79 each, got 2 free. Had $0.50 off 3 mfg coupon. $3.08 OOP

Blue Diamond Roasted Salted Almonds BOGO: $3.49 for 2. Had $1.50 off 2 mfg coupon. $1.99 OOP

Pencil Sharpener: $2.19

Subtotal: $16.25
Used $3 off $15

Total: $13.25


Transaction #2:

Pampers Mega Packs (52 count) BO get one 1/2 off. $17.99 for 1st one, 8.99 for 2nd one.

Subtotal: $26.98
Used $5 off $25 (the other coupon wouldn't have helped as much)

Total: $20.96 (making them $11 each)


Transaction #3:

**Cover Girl Make-up is BO get one 1/2 off this week**

Concealer: $12.99

Foundation: Reg. 11.82, $5.91

I used a mfg. coupon for $2.50 off any 1 CG product (I probably could have used another coupon on the half-price item, saving me $1, but I didn't think to try it...) making both products $16.40.

Subtotal: $16.40
Used: $3 off $15

Total: $13.40


Total spent (before tax): $45.63
Total saved: $41.48 (not mentioning how much Pepsi 12 packs usually cost, so I could really add a few more dollars to this total..)


And for lunch, I used a coupon from Jackson's school coupon book, and got 2 pizzas at Little Caesars for $5 :)
